What you need to do in order to join the STARFLEET Chapter - USS Storm NCC-1694

First, you go to www.sfi.org and fill out the application to join STARFLEET. The Information you need to put on the application is that we are in Region 7 and the ship name is USS STORM. If you do not list region 7 and the USS Storm, you will not be put on our list automatically.

Secondly, after you get your SCC number from STARFLEET, you need to enroll in the STARFLEET Academy and take OTS (Officers Training School). This is a core course in order to be a department head or hold any rank onboard the ship. We are also looking for a few good enlisted as well.

Third, you need to choose a department. This short list is Operations, Marines, Engineering, Security, Sciences and Medical. For a more detailed listing, go to our website (www.ussstorm.org) and pick the section you want to be in.

Please note: other than joining STARFLEET, no other steps are mandatory. If you do not pick a Department, you will be listed as a Crewman until such time as you pick a department. If you do not wish to take OTS, you can be what is known as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO).
